IKEA Test Lab and Training Centre, ITTC, is the first IKEA owned test lab outside Sweden. It's combined with a training centre for our suppliers as well as our own staff in China - Asia. Here we can explain why we test, how we perform different tests and why avalid test report is of highest importance.ITTC got the CNAS approval in December 2009 and officially started the test service on 4th January 2010 for all IKEA suppliers in China - Asia.To create an IKEA Test Lab & Training Centre in China that will result in a lower test cost for IKEA and its suppliers.We provide top competence in different areas, and a test capacity necessary to achieve our high goals for quality, healthy and safe products to our customers.We cover all steps in the test process to secure IKEA article quality starting with the development testing, continue with production testing and finally provide verification testing.
