益能科技是由中国环境基金（China Environment Fund）、英国石油公司（British Petroleum）、英特尔投资（Intel Capital）、新加坡伟高达金融集团(Vickers Financial Group) 联合投资的企业。于2006年在美国纽约成立。公司定位于为可再生能源，即太阳能和风能发电提供大功率、长寿命的大型绿色储能系统，并能够帮助城市电网进行分布式电源改造及楼宇间的削峰填谷；同时亦可作为通信行业备用电源及未来环保汽车的动力电源。
