2008年，根据国家电子信息产业结构调整的政策，由鸿基（HJ）控股有限公司、深圳汇业集团等企业投资创建湖南汇盛科技有限公司。本公司旗下汇盛科技工业园项目规划占地1200亩，总投资20亿元人民币，投产后，用于电子产业制造链中的基础产业的设计、生产、研发、推广、建设精密铸造项目基地、新型显示器项目基地、数码产品生产基地、开展国际进出口业务、打造消费类电子产业链。
湖南汇盛科技有限公司成立于2008年12月，注册资本1亿元人民币。是一家致力于全球消费类电子、光伏产品、IC深加工产品的研发、生产、市场推广、国际贸易、OEM、ODM于一体的企业。
公司主要生产数码类消费电子产品，TFT液晶显示屏、薄膜太阳能电池板系列、3G产品系列（网本、手机、多媒体播放器）。DVB以及嵌入式软件开发等多种消费类电子产品、项目。
