纸塑复合袋用途广泛，种类繁多，现在集装袋的生产原料主要有下面几种：一是聚乙烯(PE);PE是世界上产量合成树脂，也是消耗量塑料包装材料。传统的塑料包装PE材料已经快要被淘汰了，因为它的污染真是太大了。聚乙烯产品又分为低密度、中密度和高密度三种。其中高密度聚乙烯(HDPE)因具有较高的结晶度，其硬度、气密性、机械强度、耐化学性能都较好，高压低密度聚乙烯所含有的低分子量聚乙烯，较易溶于油脂，所以含聚乙烯制的包装如长期盛装食用油，可将其低分子聚乙烯溶出，而使油脂多的食品带有哈喇味二是聚氯乙烯(PVC)：PVC大致可分为硬质品、软制品和糊状制品三类。用注拉吹法生产的PVC瓶无缝线，瓶壁薄厚均匀。三是聚丙烯(PP)：因其透明度高、光洁、加工性好。
